Mission Statement
Rural St. Andrews regions of Jamaica are home to many individuals and families who struggle to access basic healthcare services. Due to factors such as limited transportation, economic hardship, and the shortage of healthcare facilities, many residents are unable to receive regular medical check-ups, preventive care, or treatment for chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease. This lack of access has contributed to the prevalence of untreated health conditions, negatively impacting the well-being and productivity of these communities. A health fair would provide an opportunity for residents to receive essential health services and education..
.
Our vision is to bridge the healthcare gap in rural St. Andrews, Jamaica, by bringing essential medical services, education, and resources directly to the community. Through this health fair, we aim to empower residents with the knowledge and care they need to manage chronic conditions, prevent disease, and improve overall well-being. By addressing barriers such as limited transportation and economic hardship, we strive to create a healthier, stronger, and more resilient community.
